Check in daily and the streak pays on a 7-day rhythm: days 1 through 4 and day 6 pay 10 HC each, day 5 pays 25, and day 7 pays 75 HC. That's 150 HC a week for a few seconds a day. Your streak counter keeps climbing past day 7, but the rewards repeat on the same 7-day cycle, so day 30 pays the same as day 7. Miss a day and you start over at day 1.

The streak is worth more than its 15¢ a week, because opening the app daily is the habit that makes everything else on this page happen. Surprise bonuses also land on top once in a while.

Survey earnings scale with the time you put in. Over the last 60 days, on days people took surveys they completed about three and earned around 377 HC, or 38¢. The weekly bonus resets Saturday morning and is where the extra money hides:

The simplest earner in the app. Watch a short video, get 10 HC. Watch 25 in a day and that's 250 HC, or 25¢, which adds up to about $91 a year. No skill involved. Good for a spare minute in line or with the TV on.

• Pick a game you'll actually enjoy. The rewards favor games you keep opening, so try a couple and settle on one that doesn't feel like work.

Progress tracking can be finicky. Allow apps to ask to track when your phone prompts you, turn off any VPN (VPNs are against our terms and can flag your account for fraud review), finish offers on the device you started them on, and don't reset your phone's advertising ID mid-offer. Resetting it wipes your progress.

The Offers section has the widest earning range in the app, and most people only ever see the top of it.

One-time offers are the headliners. Signing up for a financial product or service can pay a lot, with the biggest reaching into the hundreds of dollars. These can change your whole year, but each can only be done once. Read the requirements before you start, because credit only comes through when every step is completed.

Small repeatable offers are the part almost everyone misses, and the best power-user tip on this page. These are offers paying 10 to 25 HC that can be done daily, sometimes several times a day. They come and go, so availability isn't guaranteed, but people who check them every day earn anywhere from 30¢ to over $2 a day from them alone. Our table models 60¢. Finding them depends on your phone:

• iPhone: in Offers, tap All Offers at the bottom, then the filters in the top right and pick Quick Rewards. Scroll from there.
• Android: in Offers, sort by highest paying, then scroll to the bottom of the list.

One more time-saver: not every small offer pays fairly for the minutes it takes. The quiz-style ones usually run long for what they pay. The ones worth grabbing are the search tasks and the watch-videos-to-unlock ones, which get you the same coins in a fraction of the time.
